We are delighted to announce that Claude in the City by Alex T Smith has been selected for the Read by Yourself category of Richard and Judy`s Children`s Book Club 2011.

Alex T. Smith won second place in the Macmillan Prize for Children`s Illustration whist studying at Coventry University. A relative newcomer to the world of picture book, Alex works in a tiny studio where he is ‘assisted` by three very naughty, very tiny dogs - Claude is not one of them...he is far too busy!  

Richard and Judy`s Children`s Book Club, exclusively with WHSmith, launches on 27 January 2011 with books in three categories; Read Together, Read by Yourself and Fluent Reader.
