Hodder Children's Books

The Queen of Teen shortlist has been announced and three out of the ten authors shortlisted are from Hodder Children`s Books: Sarra Manning, Chris Higgins and Helen Bailey.

The award itself is a public award and  teenagers write in why their favourite author should be nominated in the first instance before being placed on a shortlist. The shortlist is then voted on by teens and tweens across the country to find out who will be crowned the Queen of Teen.

The award will be presented at a glittering award ceremony in September 2010, when the writers of the best nominations wil be invited to mingle with their favourite authors, invited journalists and other special guests. The ceremony is to be held at Queen of Teen HQ in leafy Surrey and will be superbly pink and sparkly - a fabulously enjoyable celebration of this thriving and important genre!
