I’m going to admit something, something I’m a little ashamed of: I’ve never left the United States. It’s not intentional, of course—I’ve just never had the opportunity to visit another country. World travel is something I’ve only read about, seen movies about, and dreamed about.

I think that’s part of the reason I’m so excited about my new book, SISTERS RED, being released in the UK. My book, something that was once just a story lurking in my head, is going places I’ve never been. It’ll (hopefully) be read by people I’ve never met, people an ocean away, people with accents that my countrymen and I all envy.

Doing blog tours with UK bloggers has helped me feel like the ocean between us isn’t quite so vast. Through guest blogs and interviews, I’m able to reach UK readers in way I couldn’t on my own. If I can’t travel overseas to talk books with you in person, this is surely the next best thing.
