Hodder Children`s Books are delighted to announce that Henderson`s Boys:The Escape by Robert Muchamore has been shortlisted for the Independent Booksellers Week Book Award 2010.

Robert is one of twelve shortlisted authors in the children`s category for this prestigious award that forms part of Independent Bookseller`s Week. Participating bookshops will showcase the shortlisted titles during Independent Bookseller`s Week (14th to 21st June) and votes can be cast in store until 30th August. The winner will be announced in September.

On being shortlisted, Robert Muchamore commented, `Independent booksellers are always ahead of the curve when it comes to the next big thing in children’s publishing, and that’s why I’m chuffed that the first book in my new Henderson’s Boys series has been nominated.’ Robert won this award for CHERUB: The Sleepwalker in 2008 so fans, please remember to cast your vote from June!
