Last week it was announced that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall is to be Patron of the National Literacy Trust.

Cressida Cowell was lucky enough to be invited along to an event to celebrate the trust`s National Young Readers` Programme where the announcement of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall as Patron was made.

The event marked the 15th anniversary of the trust`s work to encourage disadvantaged youngsters to develop a love of reading, with Her Royal Highness and famous children`s authors including Cressida Cowell, Jeremy Strong and Anthony Horowitz in attendance.
